An interesting outing...

on the 2nd January we went to an educational outing. I formed part of  the art group. We went to Mcast, a school of art and design. We went to see what it provides if we wish to continue studying there after we finish school.

We entered every classroom and saw what students were doing. Some were doing interior design,some 3d drawing of objects. They also produce paper and do printing, they work from wood, iron, rock and glass. This school offers many jobs for the future for all the students in Malta.

We had loads of fun and saw most of our old students who now attend this school having sucess in life. I hope that I'll have sucess in life with art. Afterwards we went to Ghajn Tuffieha, a bay in the north west side of Malta and we had our lunch there. then we stayed drawing for 2hrs.

Ps. Do you like art and tell me about the art schools in your own country. That would be interesting for me and my friends who are art students! Happy Valentine"s Day

                                         New Resolutions!

At every beginning of the New Year some of us make some resolutions for the whole year. However some refrain from doing this. The ones I did last year are; not to fight with my brother and to help him with every difficulty he runs into. I must admit that it was difficult to keep to them but I almost managed.

This year I chose to go on a small diet by not eating sweets,study harder and do well at school and to help my mother often with the housework, again not to fight with my brother, to be more outgoing with others, help anyone who needs my help and finally to enjoy my life. This year is a tough one because I want to achieve my resolutions and be a better person. I wish I could be more outgoing because I would be able to communicate more with others and not be anymore shy. I wish to show that I have a jolly character to some of my friends and to my classmates to whom I never really shown it. Do any of you have the same problem?

I hope that I'll be able to keep to my resolutions and achieve my goals!
